How to 10x Your Business with Virtual Assistants

Getting a virtual sourcing assistant in your online arbitrage business, can genuinely 10x your business. And by 10x your business, I mean 10x your business. 

Going back to 2015, when Kev first started his online arbitrage business - in the June, Kev started and by July/August, he got his sales up to around 6,500. Then, through using virtual assistants, and having a sourcing team, he passed 60,000. It takes a lot of hard work, grit, determination and massive action; however, virtual assistants can do this for you. 

Management Sheet

Here is an example of a sourcing management sheet, and this is something which Kev doesn't look at anymore, because he is extracted from the business. Kev has a senior virtual assistant, which comes in and reviews these products. 

Looking at the sheet, you can see how much we have sourced, how many winners there are, the target for the month, and you can see the average selling price. 

Within the sheet, you have the date, a reference, names of the products, the ASIN, the store URL, the Amazon URL, the buy for, the sell for, the FBA fee, the margins, the sellers rank, the sold in the last 30 days and we have some comments. 

Basically, what happens at this point, is a senior assistant comes in and reviews these products, managers these products by uploading them into our infantry, and messages if they are winners or if they were losers. For example, hazardous materials, low margins, or duplicates. 

This is the power of having a virtual assistant team. When Kev first got a virtual assistant, Kev was the person doing those comments. However, now, Kev has a senior assistant team which comes in and does it for him. 

This is what happens every day, and if you have a team of virtual assistants, you can scale that up by 1, 2, 3 or 4, or you can even do what Kev did and join a virtual assistant pool, and you can have 10 products per day from those virtual assistants. You could have multiple virtual assistants. Let's imagine you have 10 virtual assistants, and each one has 10 products each - that is 100 products, 5 times a day, that is 500 products.

This is how a virtual assistant can 10x your business. 

However, there are the ups and downs of seasons. Q4 is amazing and Q1 is not.

But this is what happens, and it is a lot of hard work, and there is a lot of processing to do - moving parts to the puzzle. 

The reality is, we are dealing with thousands upon thousands of products, we are dealing with profit per items, from £1.80 -  £20. It all depends on what category it is. If it is groceries, it is going to be lower, and if it is DVD's and games, it is higher. But, it is definitely recommended that you check out a sourcing assistant.

Slack

After the day is complete, we use Slack for communication.

 The virtual assistants will then comment on the day, saying that they have updated the sheet and that they have updated the products for the day, then they will come along and say something like, "Great! Thank you very much! We will check it out". Then there is the link and they go and review those products. This is basically what happens and this happens every single day, 10 products per day. Depending on the amount of assistants that you have, the more products that you will have. 

Recruitment 

If you are interested in a virtual assistant, then you can recruit your own assistants. You can go to places like Upwork, which is where Kev recruited his senior assistant. Upwork connects businesses with freelancers, independent talent, and agencies around the world.
