This blog post is going to share with you 4 key skills to successful entrepreneurship, and by the end of this blog post, you are going to have lots of actionable takeaways, and you are going to be able to take massive action in your business, creating the business that you desire. Ultimately, business is all about creating an asset for you that gives you options, which gives you opportunities, financial freedom, the ability to create an impact, and help people with your products and services. These 4 key skills which Kev has been taking massive action on in his own business in 2015. Kev believes they have made the ultimate difference; made the difference between being successful, and not being successful.
Let's get right into the key skills!
The first key skill to any entrepreneur is innovation. You have got to innovate in your business, the reality is, as you start going on your journey, you have got to see things which other people don't see, you have got to come up with ideas, and brainstorm ideas in your mind, the way that you want to see your business run, and then putting into practice creating that idea into reality. Throughout your journey, whether you are starting an online business or offline business, when you are starting to create relationships with your potential customers, clients and partners, you have always got to be thinking about innovation.
The second key skill is problem solving. You are going to experience so many problems in your business, and problems are not a bad thing. Problems allow you to grow, learn and think about what you need to do to adapt, grow and evolve.
Every day in the business, when you are taking massive action, whether it is in yourself, whether you are just at home and you are just getting started, or whether you have got a team, and you have started to recruit virtual assistants. You are going to experience problems - your team is going to experience problems.
This is, in Kev's opinion, one of the most important. This is systemisation. The root of business is your ability to systemise operations - it is your ability to systematically set up your business to achieve an outcome. When you really think about the systemisation, there are 3 components to any system.
Anything that happens in your business, any system which you want to create in your business, you want to think about these 3 things.
1. what is the trigger?
2. What is the process?
3. What's the outcome which you desire?
Leverage is so important. When you think about it, what creates leverage? leverage is created by the team which you create, the automated systems which you create, the tools which you use - it is about that leverage.
