Affiliate Marketing Number One Warning (Don't Do This)

So, you are interested in affiliate marketing, great! Well...In this blog post, I am going to be sharing with you the number one warning when it comes to affiliate marketing. Ultimately, I want you to be successful, and if you do this, then you will not be successful, and this is one of the key things which Kev has personally learned over the last 5-6 years, and  learning everything he can when it comes to affiliate marketing.

My goal here is to share with you this number one warning, set you up for long-term massive success in your affiliate journey.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is the process of recommending a product or a service to others, via a referral link, which is signed and tracked to you, and if you have a potential prospect or a potential person who you are talking to, go through your link, and sign up to that product or service, then, if they have an affiliate programme, then you would get a commission. 

Affiliate marketing is a fantastic business model, because you don't have to think about setting up the sales page, the delivery of the product or service, you don't have to think about the customer or financial support. And you also don't need to have a product or a service. All you need is the right way of affiliate marketing, and this is what brings me to this warning.

What Is the Number One Warning...?

 This comes down to how you actually attract people into your affiliate marketing. There is a big difference between someone who spams groups, cold DMS etc. You see this all the time. There are a lot of people spamming comments spamming Facebook groups, and DMS. 

You could go on your phone right now, on any platform, whether is is YouTube comments, Facebook inboxes, Instagram Inboxes etc - there are comments everywhere saying that they can help you do something, and where you can sign up. Saying that if you want to become an 8, 9, 10, 15 figure seller, then they can help you. This is a huge red flag, and inappropriate. Not many people are going to like it.

If you are going to do any type of affiliate marketing, don't do this. The better way of doing this is providing value, attracting people, and being of service to your community and to the people who can find you, get to know about, get to know your story, get to trust you, get to know what you represent, and really start to build that trust, trying to serve and help. Then, they can trust you enough to sign up to that service. 

You must promote a product or service which you have experience with, because if you don't, you have no idea what that product or service is going to do to your reputation.
